Before the big moment
An exam, an interview, a stage. The ten minutes before.
Five short lessons for an exam, a conversation or a stage: make sense of the nerves, arrive in the room, and build a simple routine for just before and just after.
The lessons
- 01Reflection · 6 min
Nerves and readiness
Nerves aren't removed. They're placed as a charged state that can mean more than one thing.
- 02Body practice · 5 min
Ground under your feet
A short grounding sequence links your feet, your gaze and your surroundings to the task ahead.
- 03Body practice · 6 min
Jaw, hands, shoulders
Deliberate tensing and releasing makes the difference between useful charge and unnecessary holding easy to feel.
- 04Everyday practice · 5 min
Three breaths outside the door
The pieces so far become a repeatable personal routine for the last minute before.
- 05Everyday practice · 8 min
Coming down afterwards
The final session adds an ending to the preparation routine, one that keeps recovery apart from immediate rumination.
The length is calculated, not estimated: it follows from the spoken text and the pauses inside it. What it says here is how long it takes.
How the course works
The lessons build on each other — lesson two knows what happened in lesson one and picks it up. You listen and follow; between the sentences there is silence, where nothing has to happen. You choose the voice and the background sound yourself, and if you play a lesson a second time you get a different welcome than the first time.
The first lesson is free, with no time limit. Everything else is part of Gentle Plus at $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, cancellable any time.
